Anxious Oswald Greene Premieres
We are excited and proud at Asymetriq to announce a short film we have been working on for the last 10 months will premiere tonight at the Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF). Anxious Oswald Greene (AOG) is a curious tale of a man looking for a cure…to his anxiety. In the crazy steam-punk-esque world the folks at Awkward Moment Productions have created, there seems to only be one little bug who is willing to tell him how it really is.
Our own Kenton Gilchrist scored the entire soundtrack using only a glockenspiel and a blacksmith’s bellows. Well ok, he had a few technological advancements to take advantage of to craft this fantastical and awe inspiring sound track that Danny Elfman (Insert Tim Burton inspired musical reference here) himself would be proud of! The whole soundtrack can be previewed and purchased online through CD-Baby or iTunes.
We’ve also had the pleasure of providing some post production supervision and motion graphics to the film. As you can tell, we are more than a bit biased towards how awesome it will be! Hey don’t take our word for it, it’s screening tonight at 9pm at SFU, Woodwards, Vancouver and again on the 9th October at 12:15 pm – Vancity Theatre.
